Women in STEM! Network, Discuss, and Advance your Career!

rosiestemAre you interested in discussing your career development, especially with a group of your peers going through the same things? Discuss the unique challenges of being a woman in a STEM profession in today’s job market. Here, you will identify your personal workforce strengths, network with other professionals in STEM, and discuss career issues. Future monthly meetings will include material from Sheryl Sandburg’s Lean In and a free personal strengthsquest assessment.

There will be two meetings covering the same material: the first is on Thursday, September 19th from 5:00-6:00pm and the second is on Thursday, September 26th from 11:50am-1:00pm at UAlbany’s Career Services, Science Library G-50.

Sponsored by UAlbany ITS Department, the facilitators include no less than Cathy Parker, a career counselor with 25+ years of work in STEM, Jennifer Goodall, Assistant Dean to the Department of Informatics, and Erin Ayala, a PhD student in psychology.
