New Course in Informatics — Learn about how information management changes policies!

Are you looking for one more Fall course to complete your schedule? Free on Wednesday nights and hope to find practical applications in information management? Look no further —

Dr. Wang, who has extensive experience in information management in both the public and private sectors and has himself played a major role in shaping New York State’s information policies and practices, is going to be teaching a special topics info mancourse.

Titled Applied Informatics for Public Policy and Management, the course will focus on managing and governing public sector digital data and demonstrate how that information will be used in policy analysis and core decisions. The class will meet Wednesdays from 7:15-10:05 in LC 3A and is offered at an undergraduate or a graduate level.
